I just hung up and said “I’m not sure what your problem is, but I hope your day gets better”. And it came from the store phone number, like I had said, in addition to them referencing my delivery instructions. It didn’t seem like a prank call because he didn’t seem to be trying not to laugh, just very monotone. I even tipped fairly as was recommended by the app when I ordered! So I was really confused. “Tyler” said that I just “seemed like an asshole for putting a :) on the contactless instructions” (which I always do to try and be nice). Someone called claiming their name was Tyler and that after they had delivered my order, they had peed on my door knob, and that the manager overheard them talking about it and made them call to apologize. Then, this afternoon today around 2, I got a couple more back-to-back phone calls, so I finally answered to see what was up to prompt them calling me 7 times now this week. However, Monday afternoon I got five calls back-to-back from that Domino’s store (the store on ninth pops up when you google the phone number and caller ID read “DOMINOS PIZZA”), which I assumed was spam or some kind of survey I didn’t have time for, so I ignored them. Everything seemed fine, the food was even better than the usual expected quality for a Domino’s. Ordered a pizza from the Domino’s on Ninth this past Friday evening.
